『Kesennuma, Voices.7』 (ENGLISH POST AT THE END)
東日本大震災から7年目。今年も気仙沼で皆さんの”声”を記録してきました。
TBSチャンネル１では３０分後の午前11時〜、TBS地上波では3月14日午前午前2:45〜、TBSオンデマンドでは配信開始となっております。
小中学校のグラウンドに建っていた仮設住居は全てなくなり、来年度からは体育の授業や部活動を自分のグラウンドでできるようになる子供達。仮設住宅も平成３０年度をもって集約されるそうです。思ったより高く立ちそびえる防潮堤。橋や高速道路など進みゆくインフラ整備。去りゆく人、新しく来る人、帰って来る人。毎年見るものが少しづつ変わっていっています。
我々も今年は一歩踏み込んで、気仙沼の子供達とミュージカル『デンマークとさんま十勇士』を、総合演出に堤幸彦監督、演出に兄である生島勇輝、振付・ステージングに小生、そしてうを座、気仙沼プラザホテル、KRAをはじめ、気仙沼の多くの人たちのお力を借りて創りました。
物語は父・生島ヒロシの少年時代昭和30年代のお話。日本全体に活気が満ちあふれ、気仙沼も漁港として大いに賑わっていました。家の食堂を手伝いながらも、クラスのマドンナ・ようこちゃんの気をひくため、ヒロシは友達１０人とNHK合唱コンクールを目指すことに。しかし、一枚の写真がある事件を引き起こしてしまう…
製作陣も寝ずに働き、セット、小道具も全て手作り！頑張って作ったので是非見てください

“Kesennuma, Voices.7”
It’s been 7 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake. We have been collecting people’s “voice” for 7 years now.
It will be broadcasted on TBS in Japan as well as on demand.
Most people have moved out of temporary housing, but the school grounds will be cleared for children. Some kids never saw their school ground and left school. I cannot imagine that for myself. Seawalls are higher than expected.
Infrastructure, a new bridge and new highway, are under construction. Some left, some came back, and some joined the city.
This year, we took a step further and decided to create a musical with children in Kesennuma. We have Yukihiko Tsutsumi as an executive director, and Yuki Ikushima, my brother, as a director, and I was a choreographer for this musical, “Denmark and Sanma Ju-Yushi”. It is a story about Japan in the 1960’s.
We have hand made the sets and props as well, with the great help from Uo-Za, Kesennuma Plaza Hotel, KRA, and all the people in Kesennuma.
